We automatically collect some information about every visitor. However, none of the information identifies you. We collect and store the following:
the Internet domain and IP address from which you access our site
(The domain is the name of your Internet provider [e.g., yourschool.edu].
The IP address is a number assigned to your computer when you surf the Web. It doesn’t identify you or your location.)
the type of browser and operating system you use to access our site
the date and time of your visit
the pages you visit
if you came to us through a link on another site, the address of that
site
(We use this information to count the number and type of visitors to our pages, and to help us make our site more useful.)
You may choose to give us personal information, such as when you place an order or send us an e-mail. We use the information to improve our service to you or to respond to your request. Sometimes we forward your e-mail to other employees or associates who may be better able to help you. Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, we don’t share our e-mail with any other outside organizations. We also don’t share your name and address with other companies.
We don’t want to collect personal information from children on our site. No online activities or resources on this site request any information from children. Any e-mail received from a child will not be published in any way.
Our site has many links to our partners, usually other educational agencies. When you link to another site, you become subject to the privacy policy of the new site.
