Vision
AIT is a non-profit agency that is an advocate for learners. We promote experiences, direct and indirect, that will improve the lives of learners and help each person find success and satisfaction. We recognize that opportunities to contribute will occur periodically and irregularly and that we must be opportunistic and creative to be able to continue to serve.
Values and Beliefs
- We place value on the worth of every individual learner and strive to show respect to all.
- We believe that learners should be enriched by educational experiences, both emotionally and intellectually.
- We believe that every learner will benefit from educational experiences that are appropriate, engaging, and rewarding.
- We believe that instruction must be efficient as well as effective and always respectful of the learner's time.
- We believe that developing skills, creativity, and attitudes is more valuable than simply acquiring information and that every learner's success is enhanced by increasing capacity, ability, and desire to learn.
- We believe that AIT stands for integrity and quality in all its undertakings.
- We believe that the quality of every AIT effort is a direct reflection of the commitment and talent of its employees.
- We believe that honest tasks that help to maintain the capacity of the Agency are worthwhile and worth doing if they contribute to our ability to continue to serve.
- We believe that AIT should exist in some form due to its capacity to serve and advocate for learners.
