Child Sexual Abuse: An Ounce of Prevention

This program gives children ages four to fourteen basic safety rules with which to protect themselves. Without nudity, rape scenes, violence, or offensive language, it shows assertive children successfully escaping sexual assault. The programs deal with the problems children face when the abuser is a trusted friend or member of the family. They break through the automatic compliance on which most sexual assault of children depends with five simple safety rules.

  • You have the right to say no (even to an adult).
  • Your body belongs to you.
  • Trust your feelings.
  • Make a scene and get away.
  • Tell someone.
