Techniques for Reading Instruction

Reading consultant-teacher Teresa Irvin demonstrates strategies for developing phonetic and word-attack skills. She also shares techniques to improve student comprehension in reading. Geared toward elementary-level schoolteachers, one program is focused on emergent readers and one on developing reading comprehension skills. Each set of instructional skills is demonstrated with a group of target-age students.
