Ojibwe Stories (Aniishinaabe Adisokan)

Each episode in this series features a different Ojibwe story relating the history and culture of one of America's largest Native American groups. Different Native narrators recount the story, illustrated by sweeping vistas of wild-rice fields, re-enactment footage, or wildlife. The programs offer a collection of resources to support the instruction of language arts and cultural history. Each story stands alone, but as a combined resource can provide a rich look into the culture of the Ojibwe people. Many words in the Ojibwe language are introduced.
