The Etiquette Man He came to give them hope . . . And some really good dating advice This short film tells the story of a very odd, but friendly stranger who comes to a small town high school one spring morning as the guest speaker. His audience is a group of angry, apathetic, media-saturated teenagers. The students and teachers are baffled by how this stranger looks, acts, and speaks (which is in the language of a 1950s dating and etiquette guide). At the end of their day with him, the teenagers are shocked to find themselves being helpful and kind to one another. Somehow, the stranger has given them hope . . . and some really good dating advice. This program is recommended for a Character Education class, or as part of courses in Family and Consumer Sciences, English (Media Arts, Drama), or Social Studies (Sociology, Psychology). Grades 6-12
