Jason Ohler, Ph.D., is author of Taming the Beast: Choice & Control in the Electronic Jungle (TECHNOS Press 1999). He teaches technology assessment at the University of Alaska Southeast and is director of that school's Educational Technology program. A playwright and musician whose compositions have been performed live and on radio and TV, Ohler lives with his wife and two daughters in Juneau, Alaska.
