Positively Sticky…How to Make the Message Stick with Today’s Media

Stickiness Learner TypesJust what do you need to know to make your instructional and professional development products more effective? AIT’s Broadcast and Training Specialist, Joann Flick, has some tips for our partners, sponsors, and customers in a PowerPoint® presentation developed for a National Teacher Training Institute (NTTI) workshop. Jo calls it “Stickiness: Applying a Marketing Concept to the Use of Instructional Media for Learning”—how to make the information “stick” using modern media. She draws on the expertise of Robert Gagné, Howard Gardner, Faith Rogow, and others to make her point that modern instructional media can be a force for the good in classrooms, both physical and virtual.
