Math Quiz is an online timed quiz by topic area, with self-assessments, and animated Flashtm tutorials designed to help students in grades 6–9 achieve their best test scores.
This engaging resource challenges students to hone their math and test-taking skills in a game-style environment. Students choose a topic area in Math—number sense, geometry, data analysis, or algebra—and an animated character presents questions and provides feedback on their answers. The quiz is timed, to simulate a high-stakes test atmosphere. At the conclusion of the quiz, students are provided an analysis of their work and are permitted to review questions and to view an online tutorial related to any question. The entire look and feel of this resource is very contemporary, in the style of Japanese Anime animation.
